Why this policy is specific
The same isolation that lets an agency run its clients’ accounts without mixing them up could also be used to run fake ones. A vague “don’t do anything illegal” clause helps no one, so we name the uses we support and the ones we don’t. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.
What Browz is for
Running several separate browser profiles on one computer, so that sessions that should not be linked are not linked. Legitimate uses include:
- Agencies and freelancers managing advertising, social or marketplace accounts for several clients.
- Sellers running several storefronts on platforms that allow it.
- QA and web engineering: testing how a site behaves for different users, locales and devices.
- Research and data collection within each site’s terms and applicable law.
- Privacy: separating personal, work and public browsing identities.
What you must not do
You may not use Browz to:
- Commit fraud, including payment fraud, chargeback fraud, refund abuse, carding, or testing stolen payment details.
- Take over accounts you do not own, including credential stuffing, brute-force attacks, session hijacking, or using credentials obtained from a breach or bought.
- Create accounts in bulk on platforms that forbid it, or run networks of fake accounts for engagement, review, advertising or voting fraud.
- Evade a ban imposed for abuse. Returning to a platform that removed you for fraud, harassment or spam is not what Browz is for. Appealing a ban, or using a platform that allows several accounts, is different.
- Distribute malware, phishing pages or spam, or run infrastructure for them.
- Produce, distribute or access child sexual abuse material, or other content that is unlawful where we operate.
- Harass, stalk, dox or impersonate a specific person.
- Attack systems, including unauthorised scanning, exploitation or denial of service.
- Get around Browz’s own controls, including launch refusals and plan limits.
Websites’ own rules
Browz does not give you permission to do anything a website or platform forbids. You remain responsible for following the terms of every site you use.
How we enforce this policy
- Reports go to [abuse@ domain], which is monitored. We acknowledge every report.
- What we can see. Profile contents, cookies, proxies and visited sites stay on your device, encrypted, and never reach us. We act on account and payment signals, and on evidence that reporters provide. We cannot search anyone’s browsing, and we will not build the ability to, because that would destroy the privacy Browz exists to provide.
- Escalation runs from a warning, to suspension, to termination, in proportion to the problem. We terminate immediately for child sexual abuse material, account takeover and malware.
- Suspended accounts keep their data and can export it for [retention period], unless keeping it would itself be unlawful.
- Appeals are answered by a person. Email [appeals@ domain].
Identity verification
We do not require identity verification on our standard plans. We may require it for enterprise plans, larger teams, or where we have reasonable grounds to suspect abuse.
If you believe someone is using Browz in breach of this policy, email [abuse@ domain] with as much evidence as you can share. To report a security vulnerability, email [security@ domain].
